Barclays Personal Loans reveals drivers are fed up

Rising fuel prices and traffic jams were revealed as the main complaints of British motorists polled by Barclays Personal Loans.

The study asked 2,317 adults about their biggest irritations when driving and found that fuel costs, traffic, parking restrictions, road works, fines and other drivers were some of the culprits.

In contrast, two per cent of drivers said they had nothing at all to complain about.

Gary Duggan, managing director for Barclays Personal Loans, said that "although we can't do anything about the cost of fuel, traffic jams or congestion charging", a Barclays personal loan could help facilitate the purchase of a vehicle.

"Purchasing a car has become easier, as we have recently reduced our rates on our loans to as low as 6.8 per cent - and to help a little bit more we will give £50 to customers who switch their current loan to us," he remarked.

Recent research from Confused.com reveals that convictions for running red lights have risen this year.
