Old Mutual Prosper 80 launched

Old Mutual Asset Managers (OMAM) is launching its Old Mutual Prosper 80 account, which targets a return of four per cent, plus capital.

It also offers a protected price of 80 per cent of the highest ever fund price.

Chris Rule, who manages Old Mutual Prosper 80, said: "Since the fund was seeded in April this year, it has met its performance target, with an annualised volatility of 2.5 per cent and this gives us every confidence that we will be able to continue to deliver stable returns for investors going forward."

The fund will now be available from September 19th and the minimum investment customers can make is £5,000.

The performance of the Old Mutual Prosper 80 fund is directly linked to the Old Mutual Prosper Protected Fund, whose assets are under a multi-manager portfolio of hedge fund managers and cash.
