NatWest Travel Money: It pays to go far

NatWest Travel Money is urging potential stag or hen weekenders to choose their destination carefully, in order to obtain the best value for money.

Though the majority of those who do wish to paint the town red abroad will choose destination whose currency is the euro, those willing to travel further afield could reap the financial rewards.

Those heading to US cities, such as Las Vegas, will receive great exchange rate, as the amount of US dollars to the pound has increased by 18 per cent since 2002, according to NatWest Travel Money.

Furthermore, Russia also offers Britons good value for money, while eastern European countries also remain hot destinations.

NatWest Travel Money said it had seen a large increase in demand for currencies outside the Eurozone, which indicates that an increasing number of people are heading to more exotic destinations for their stag or den weekends.
