Alliance & Leicester loan offer

The unsecured Alliance & Leicester (A&L) loan is available for application by both existing and new customers.
A&L suggests it could be used to pay off store cards, book a holiday or buy a new car and can be arranged by visiting a branch.
Funds are made available for loans accepted before 12.30pm on a working day.
Personal loans manager Richard Al-Dabbagh said: "The fact that the loan takes less time to be paid into your current account means that you can get it working for you even faster."
He went on to suggest that the interest rate was competitive and affordable for most people.
In other loan news, Royal Bank of Scotland has launched new credit card deals under its Mint, NatWest and RBS brands.
Mint will offer zero per cent on balance transfers to new credit card customers until March 2009 and zero per cent on purchases until August 2008.
