Norwich and Peterborough savings accounts get rate rise

A number of Norwich and Peterborough Building Society saving accounts are having their interest rates increased.

The changes will be applied to the society's fixed rate mini-cash ISA, TESSA-only ISA, loyalty bonds and fixed rate bonds.

All the changes will come into force from March 23rd and will see interest rates available on fixed rate bonds range from 4.85 per cent on the six-month option to 5.1 per cent for a five-year term.
