The annual awards are now in their fourth year and are voted for by UK mortgage brokers and are based on "all aspects of lending".
Patrick Ponsford, publisher of Mortgage Strategy magazine, said: "Winning this award, the largest piece of online research ever completed in the mortgage industry, is a real achievement and Alliance & Leicester should be justifiably proud."
