AWD Moneyextra Will Writing Service promoted

It has been announced today that an AWD Moneyextra Will Writing Service is being offered online.

The company claims that the service is intended to arrange a will that suits particular customers' situations, as well as offering a saving.

People who create a will with Moneyextra will have their estate administered by Estate Preservation Services, at a fee of £10,000 for a hypothetical estate worth £500,000.

For the same value of assets, HSBC would charge £16,750, Barclays would ask for £18,500 and LloydsTSB would have a fee of £20,000, according to Moneyextra.

The company also reports that more people are encountering an inheritance duty than ever before and that the proportion of estates paying tax is at its highest level for 30 years.

"The right will means you are going to be able to leave more of your estate to your family rather than to the taxman. Given the inexorable increase in property values, more and more of us face the prospect of an inheritance tax bill on our estate," said Robin Amlot of Moneyextra.

The WMD Moneyextra Will Writing Service is currently available on the company's website and charges start from £80.
