Tesco Clubcard Credit Card 'offers market-leading interest-free period'

Consumers looking for a long interest-free period may wish to look at the Tesco Clubcard Credit Card, according to a finance expert at the company.

David McCreadie stated that the product offers the longest introductory offer on purchases currently on the market, with customers able to pay zero per cent interest on such transactions for up to 13 months.

He noted that people will also benefit from earning extra points with the Tesco Clubcard Credit Card, which he believes they appreciate.

Mr Creadie said: "Around one in ten credit card purchases in the UK are now made on a Tesco credit card. Our customers tell us that they value earning Clubcard points wherever they use the card."

The product also offers nine months interest free on balance transfers.

This month, Tesco Bank revealed that one in four parents has reduced the amount of pocket money they give their children as a result of the economic climate.
