Sainsbury's Finance Internet Saver deadline is extended

Sainsbury's Finance has announced that its Internet Saver special offer will now be available until September 5th.

The Internet Saver account offers a rate of 2.9 per cent gross as long as three withdrawals or less are made in the first year.

Balances of between £1,000 and £500,000 are accepted, and £1,000 must be received by the financial services provider within 30 days of the consumer opening the account.

Savers should be aware that the rate of interest falls to 0.51 if more than three withdrawals are made within the 12-month period or if the balance of the account drops under £1,000.

Sainsbury's Finance has offered an additional bonus of 1,000 Nectar points for new customers taking advantage of the offer.

The Internet Saver special offer was previously made available from the end of July until the August 22nd, when a representative from the organisation suggested that traditional high street banks were "falling behind" in terms of savings rates.
