Employer of the year award 'scooped by Bright Grey'

The results as to who has been granted the National Business Awards for Scotland's employer of the year accolade have come through - and insurance firm Bright Grey came out on top, it has emerged.

More than 400 business leaders and representatives attended the Glasgow event last night as they gathered to celebrate the most innovative, brawny and ethical businesses on the current landscape.

Bright Grey beat nine other firms to the title of employer of the year, something it attributes to the "real team effort" of its employees, explained the company's operations director Gordon Watson.

He continued: "Our strategy is aligned to the premise that the service we provide to IFAs is directly linked to the experience of Bright Grey employees. And investment in our employees benefits our overall customer service."

Bright Grey was set up in 2003 by the Royal London and focuses solely on protection insurance.
