Valid on standard, total and extra care packages, the limited availability offer could save customers a substantial amount.
While the usual price on the Tesco insurance total care product is £79, customers who take advantage of the new offer will be able to enjoy the benefits of the product for £65 with the two free months taken into account.
Allan Burns, head of insurance at Tesco Personal Finance, said: "Many motorists don’t realise that the car breakdown cover is a highly competitive market.
"We would encourage drivers to look further than the traditional players whose comparable cover can be almost double the price of Tesco," he added.
The Tesco insurance packages can be purchased online or over the telephone, with the product requiring no forms to be filled.
