Weddings in the UK cost an average of £15,000 and couples tying the knot can now have added piece of mind on their big day.
The average value of marital gifts now totals £1,500 and the latest offer will allow people to replace the items should they be stolen, lost or damaged 24 hours before or after their wedding day.
Craig Allen, home insurance product manager at More Than, commented: "Weddings are expensive and stressful enough without the added financial burden of something being stolen or damaged."
"Although it may not be top of your agenda, it's worth making a quick phone call to your insurer to make sure you have the benefit of extra cover," he added.
